Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training

The Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training is a nationally recognised vocational training course.
Our course has been designed and developed by industry experts including veterinarian specialists in behaviour medicine, behaviour veterinarians, experienced positive reinforcement dog trainers, and business communication specialists.
We teach evidence-based positive reinforcement training methods via a blended delivery approach including structured, self-directed online study and face to face learning opportunities. Our course has 6 modules, completed over 24 months:
Students have the opportunity to complete Professional Experience with a positive reinforcement dog trainer currently working in the industry, and to complete Professional Observation and Collaboration with a behaviour veterinarian working on complex dog behaviour cases.
The 16 units of competency included in the Delta Institute course are:
Students are required to complete all 16 units in our course to be awarded the Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training qualification through Delta Institute.
